Detik.com reported that the WHO has returned 58 Avian flu viruses to Indonesia. They were returned in a changed form.
Minister of health, Siti Fadilah Supari said, that "they have been tampered, perhaps after vaccines have been made from them."
She said that the return was finally achieved after a long struggle demanding transparency under the material transfer agreement (MTA), and has reinforced her suspicions about the research goals.
She has earlier published a book, see US involved in bird flu conspiracy: Indonesia, and said she will not withdraw the book, even though there is pressure for her to do it. Instead she is planning to write a second book.
